How do I download and install GreenTea VPN?
  1. Click any "Download" button or visit the download center and pick your platform.
  2. Once downloaded, double-click the installer and follow the wizard.
  3. Choose an install directory (default is fine) and click "Install".
  4. After installation, a shortcut appears on your desktop — double-click to open.
  5. Register with a phone number or email, then sign in.
  6. Click "Connect" on the main screen and wait a few seconds to connect.
Is GreenTea VPN really free?
  1. GreenTea VPN offers a fully free basic service — register and use, no payment needed.
  2. The free plan includes mainstream nodes and basic bandwidth for daily needs.
  3. You may optionally upgrade to Pro for more bandwidth, but it is not required.
  4. Free and paid plans share identical encryption and privacy standards.
  5. The free plan has no ads, no forced traffic limits, and is free for life.

How does GreenTea VPN protect my privacy?
  1. GreenTea VPN uses AES-256-GCM military-grade encryption on all traffic.
  2. Tunneling supports WireGuard and OpenVPN, both industry-recognized standards.
  3. A strict zero-log policy records no browsing, connection time or real IP.
  4. Independent DNS resolution prevents DNS hijacking and leaks.
  5. A built-in kill switch auto-disconnects on network anomalies.
  6. Servers are deployed in privacy-friendly regions.
What if the connection is slow or fails?
  1. First check your local network and router connectivity.
  2. Switch to another node in the client's node list to avoid congestion.
  3. Try a different protocol or obfuscation mode in restricted networks.
  4. Close and reopen the client, then reconnect.
  5. Whitelist GreenTea VPN in your firewall or security software.
  6. Contact support with your logs if the issue persists.
How many devices can one account use?
  1. One GreenTea VPN account supports up to 5 simultaneous devices.
  2. Device types are unlimited — mix phones, tablets and computers.
  3. Each device can pick a different node independently.
  4. Beyond 5 devices, you will be prompted to sign out an old device.
  5. Upgrade to Pro for more device licenses if needed.
  6. Manage your account in "Account Settings" on any device.
Which platforms and systems are supported?
  1. Full Windows support, compatible with Windows 10/11 and some older versions.
  2. macOS support for both Intel and Apple Silicon chips.
  3. Android phones and tablets running 7.0 and above.
  4. iOS devices (iPhone and iPad) running iOS 12 and above.
  5. Linux mainstream distros with Deb, Rpm and CLI installation.
